The new interactive charts are ready! Although we still have a lot of work to do, the basic charting application is working beautifully.
To access the Interactive Charts, click on the Interactive Charts navigation button
The new charts will load, be patient, it may take several seconds the first time you load it...
The basic charting application is the only thing you will see right now. We are working on Indicators and COT data now. Watch this forum for updates as they come available. If you want to be notified of updates by email, just create a free user account. If you already have an account with Timing Charts you do not need to create another, you are already on our mailing list.

Time to load the first time was 5 minutes. Secondary charts take about 1-2 minutes.
Platform did not remember my last chart when I toggled from I-charts to forum and back to I-charts, regardless if logged on or not. Silverlite program says that application data can be stored by website. Perhaps if raw data is stored on each user computer, then chart time will be greatly reduced. Selection of quantity of time from 1 month to 6 years at bottom of page, could be expanded to include 9, 12, 15 & 20 years, in addition to the continuous setting. Continuous charts seem to take forever to load. Icons for quantity of time selected should be in white like the top of the page; they seem to be masked too much, & hard to see.

Hi, looks really good. Would be useful to have all of the time periods available on the old charts e.g. 150 days. Also minor irritant but when you select a symbol on the dropdown, then hit the contract month without clicking the red X to close the symbol list it doesn't navigate to the chart (i.e. have to select symbol, close dropdown then choose contract).
Charts loaded nice and quickly for me.
A request - is it possible to get continuous charts for the electronic/Globex symbols?

I'm concerned about the 5 minute load time. Are you using broadband? The charts should load initially in about 5 seconds and each symbol change or month change only takes 1 second. Keep me informed on load times.
Your sessions are not yet integrated with the rest of the site so it won't remember you. This is something we are working on. Right now it's just bare bones charts. The timeframe buttons at the bottom will be updated in the nest version with clearer icons.

You can select another month and timeframe while the symbol list is open. Try it again to see if you can get it to work. When I'm looking through the symbols I just leave the symbol list open and start clicking on the symbols I want to see. I change months and look at continuous charts with no problems.
The problem with adding continuous data for the newer electronic markets is they don't have much history. The data has to manually be spliced with the old pit contracts. This is something I want to do when I can find the time. I can add more timeframe options, no problem.

I use line-of-sight broadband. It is wireless, and is bradcast from a tower. That is the only type available in this area (other than ancient dialup). Load times for individual contracts is OK.
The problem now is the continuous contracts that take several minutes to load in the weekly setting.
